time change adjustment...

so i'm in sacramento right now and i forgot that my blackberry doesn't automatically adjust for the new time zone you're in. so when i set the alarm on my phone last night, i forgot to calculate in an extra hour. and i woke up at 4:30 instead of 5:30 this morning. it was a good 30 minutes before i realized what happened - 22 minutes too late to go back to bed. i already had half my hair curled. so now i'm just killing time until i go down to hotel lobby to meet my colleagues for the two hour drive to modesto.

i keep watching the news pundits discussing last night's 2nd presidential debate. they aren't telling me really anything new. i thought i had missed the debate and would have to watch it when i got home since i tivo'd it. but c-span replayed it in its entirety last night at 9:00 pm and i was able to catch it. i have to agree with the drudge report's assessment: boring. i mean it had its highlights, but i enjoyed the VP debate much more. a lot more fire. a lot more action. a lot more references to joe six pack.

holy hannah! cnn's commentator on the recent rate cut on interest rates has a tie dyed pink dress shirt on! that is pretty damn gutsy. and i'm digging it. he has it paired with a black vest and striped tie. the right sleeve is almost completely white, while the left sleeve is a nice shade of pepto pink and everything in the middle is a blend between the two.

i know this is way too much ranting for a wednesday morning at 6:05 am. but i've been up now for almost 2 hours. i need someone to talk to already....
